About the guesthouse
The guesthouse built in 2020/2021 is 70 m2 in size and can accommodate up to 4 people. It features a well-equipped open-plan kitchen and living area, a spacious bathroom with a shower, and two bedrooms with double beds. The living area invites you to relax by the cosy Swedish stove, read a book, and unwind with a cup of tea. The covered terrace with a view of the lake allows you to leave the everyday routine completely behind.

The garden
In our garden, you’ll find plenty to delight you. We can heat up the sauna and hot tub upon request, providing a cosy warmth for your relaxation. If you fancy a leisurely trip on the lake or a fishing excursion, the rowboat with an electric motor is at your disposal.
Prefer exploring on land? The picturesque hills beckon for hiking, offering a unique experience amidst the great outdoors. Bicycles are also available for you to explore the surrounding area.
Conclude your day by our open fire pit – prepare your stew or the popular Swiss cheese fondue in the cauldron. When our herbs and vegetables are ready for harvest, you can obtain them directly from the farm. Additionally, once a week, we bake bread in the bread and pizza oven. Our chickens contribute to expanding the offerings.

Rowing boat with electric motor
Use our rowing boat to fully enjoy the tranquility of the lake or try your luck at fishing. No fishing license is required for fishing on Lake Bälsesjön. Learn more under “Fishing.”

Nearby, there are additional idyllic bathing spots for carefree moments by the water and a refreshing plunge into the cool depths.

Fishing on our lake is allowed without a fishing license.
Fishing on Lake Bälsesjön is allowed without a fishing license. For all other bodies of water you will need a fishing license, which you can obtain at the Bollnäs Tourist Information or at the Hambokrog Kilafors restaurant. Please ensure you bring your own fishing equipment.
